Dupion silk is silk at its best natural form. It has a lustrous shine which comes from the tightly woven structure which reflects light and the iridiscent two tones come from the multi color yarns in use. The inherent slubby texture comes from the interlacing of a fine thread in the warp and an uneven thread in the weft.

The ikat handloom silk dupatta is for styling and not included in the ensemble. It can be bought separately.
